Crowd-pleasing Clown

As a host and compère, the badge-loving Ringmaster has become a familiar face at festivals, jamborees and hootenannies in the past decade, holding pivotal roles in the 2012 Olympics wrap party and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Celebrations.

Introducing live acts, drawing attention to stalls and workshops, dancing with little kids and flirting with old ladies is all part of the job for this Master Of Ceremonies. Just make sure he gets a discount at the cupcake stand.

In recent years the Ringmaster has also been part of the team at the hugely successful Festival Of Thrift and Ukulele Festival of Scotland.

Thank you so, so much for your involvement in this year’s Festival. I have had so many positive comments I am just going to HAVE to ask you again. It was lovely to be able to relax knowing you were doing a really professional job.  You are now an important part of the team!

Stella Hall, Festival of Thrift

Paul is the consummate professional, and has been MC’ing our Alternative Village Fete for five years now. He brings humour, relaxed commentary and confidence to the role, introducing acts, chatting with stall holders and entertaining the audience. His Ringmaster is a great walkabout act in itself as well as a wonderful host!

Laura Godfrey-Isaacs, Director home live art

What a godsend. You were utterly brilliant, as I’m sure you always are. Lots of people said the competition, and particularly you, were the best thing there. I would be honoured to work with you again.
